“ This place is a total vibe on Saturdays. With the live music amazing! We were here for restaurant week and actually.Um, you got a smaller portion than the main entrees. Definitely, a high-end experience. The offerings definitely could have been better. In my opinion, but I wouldn't give it a pass as it was restaurant week menu. I did enjoy the warm bread that was offered in complimentary.Lemon drop. ”

“ I'm obsessed with this place. I've been a few times now, and the food consistently hits the spot. Service was kind, maybe a touch slow, but I wasn't in a rush as it was date night. The vibe is very cozy and romantic, so really great for a date. The stuffed pasta is truffles done right and the steak tartare is honestly the best I can find. That alone could keep me coming back. Crab cakes, wagyu hanger steak, stuffed pasta, and tartare are my go to's. You can't go wrong. ”

“ I was not aware this place existed until I attended a Yelp Event in their wine cellar a couple of months ago. Place looked great and had a great ambience and they mentioned they have great food so I knew I wanted to come back soon. Came by this past Saturday for dinner and the place did not disappoint. Live music from a very nice band was the soundtrack for an awesome first dinner here. They start you off with a welcome vodka cocktail that is pretty good actually. We started out with a cesar salad and a king crab cake and both were very good...king crab cake especially! We then shared a 16oz medium rare ribeye, brussel sprouts and the truffled twice baked potato. Steak was good but those sides were the star of the show...baked potato especially. We had a very cool/good server by the name of Wolf and I even got to see the lovely Shark from the Yelp event I attended. Both are very dope people with great personality. Drinks at Divan are very much on point! The Smoke Show (a fancy old fashioned) is a great presentation and tastes great as well...definitely lives up to its name. Highland Cure was great as well...they light this cocktail on fire as well and its pretty good. Its Monkey Shoulder and St. Germain based along with some ginger and cinnamon. My date got the All That Glitters in Pink in which they pour a grey goose cocktail on top of cotton candy...pretty fancy huh. Good joint to check out with the significant other, celebrating a success or just dropping by the bar for a drink and some bites. I like it. ”

“ I've had consistently good meals and service at Divan. Side dishes shine along with attentive servers. The bartender was a little rude during a recent visit, but I won't factor that into my review. Nice option for team dinners or date night. They offer live music so check ahead of time for details. Steaks are thinner than I prefer and the dessert could use a little fine tuning, but worth a visit for sure. ”

“ If you are looking for a swanky, refined venue for a spendy special occasion, look no further than Divan. It's easy to go big here, but know that in advance and you will not regret it. We visited on a recent Saturday night to celebrate an anniversary; we went big and we were not disappointed. The restaurant completely gutted the interior and it looks magnificent, with a gorgeous bar to the right, an intimate stage to the left, and multiple two and four tops in the dining room area. There is also a loft seating area and a wine cellar. Dark wood, exposed brick, and muted blues make for an elegant supper club / jazz speakeasy vibe. The cocktail list is anchored by two specialty double cocktails, one, a riff on the Vesper with gin and vodka, the other, a smoked old fashioned. We ordered the Vesper and watched a Smoke Show presentation. The Smoke Show comes out in a bell jar enclosing a smoking apperatus which can smoke two cocktails at once. The Vesper cocktail is a double and is poured tableside, with the extra cocktail placed in a small glass jar over ice. Its a lovely sophisticated affair. For dinner, went big with a custom raw bar course, a ceaser salad, two filets with some whipped potatoes, and the chocolate cake. Our raw bar was a pound of crab legs and the shrimp cocktail. The crab legs were served with aioli and drawn butter and were delicous but fair warning - a pound is a LOT of crab for two people, more than I was expecting. We did finish it, however, because we are dedicated. The shrimp cocktail was excellent, as well. The salad was meh but the whipped potatoes were smooth and creamy, and the steaks, cooked rare, had great flavor. Word of warning though, they char their steaks so the exterior is crusty crusty. I hate that trend and ate around the exterior. To wrap things up, definitely save room for dessert, the chocolate cake is divine. The wine list is pretty high end with almost all bottles well into three figures. The Amarone, however, is an excellent option and you won't regret ordering it. Service was excellent and in the second half of our dinner we enjoyed a jazz three piece fronted with a sophisticated chanteuse. The singing and excellent service rounded out a enjoyable and memorable evening. Well worth the price tag. ”
